Having lived in Florida for 10 years, 9 in Miami Beach and another in Pompano Beach, I fastened on ocean views, canals, cargo ships, sail and power boats, and also, the landscape from the Everglades to the seashore. I painted a series of house portraits in Old Pompano and a series of tankers at anchor off Ft. Lauderdale.
