Circus

I researched for a prospective book on circus history for Readers Digest International Special Books where I was employed for 6 years, before embarking on a career in arts administration leading Arts Councils. I became enamored and engrossed in the various art forms and artistsI set I found in picture books about the circus, especially German ones, and found my way to Ringlings live performances in New york. I even met the circus owners. I set out to do a “circus Painting” and ended up creating thirty. These were shown by a museum in Bridgeport and a gallery in New York which sold all of them.
